Christmas Eve

This year we had to do a little scheduling to get all the Christmas rounds made but I think it turned out pretty well. We were definitly exhausted by the end but Isaiah had an amazing time and really that's what it is all about. My parents, aka Cappy and Ebbie, came over on Christmas Eve. We exchanged our presents, ate a yummy dinner, played with Bullseye and Woody, got horse back rides and the adults watched "Christmas Vacation" after little buddy crashed. We even made it into a slumber party! It was a super fun night and we are looking forward to this "new tradition".

Zoo Lights

We went to the Memphis Zoo to see all the Christmas lights and the farm animals. I think Isaiah's favorite part was petting the goats. He actually tried to climb in the pen with them. Hilarious! He also took his first ferris wheel ride. I have never really been nervous on a ferris wheel before but I sure was this night. He also had his first funnel cake. YUMMY!

GingerBread House

Mike and I like to make a gingerbread house every year before Christmas. We figured Isaiah was old enough to help this year. He mostly enjoyed eating the candy (hehehehehe) but it was a lot of fun and lots of laughs. I think he did a pretty great job!
He thought he was being so funny trying to eat the house. He cracks me up.

Cookies with Ebbie

My Mom has been keeping Isaiah for me on Tuesdays so I can clean house, run errands and have a little me time. I really look forward to the break and Isaiah loves doing fun things with his Ebbie. The week before Christmas they baked us some yummy cookies.

S'mores, Dogs and Fun

Cappy loves to burn stuff. He's such a boy at heart. He had a lot to burn so he built a little bonfire and we headed over after church to roast some hot dogs and marshmallows. It was a little hot for Isaiah but he defintily enjoyed the food. Love my boys!

Santa

We took Isaiah to see Santa at the Germantown tree lighting. It was free and you could take your own pictures. We had planned on going to get some done with a photographer who knows what they are doing, but honestly these just make me laugh. Isaiah loves that Santa brings him presents and candy canes but he HATES sitting in his lap. Everytime after this night when we would ask if he wanted to see Santa he would run and bury his head in a pillow and say "NOOOOOO"! Enjoy! (and no, Isaiah is not wearing shorts! Those are sweat pants. hahahaha)
