Meeting James Bryant
After four long months of waiting, we FINALLY got to meet James Bryant and spend time with Bubba and Amber. Bryant sure is a sweet baby and he is very easy going (nothing like his older cousin at that age)! I got in lots of sweet snuggle time. Isaiah was a little jealous of all the attention but luckily my lap is big enough for both of these sweet boys. I am so happy for my little brother and really impressed with all the work he puts in to help Amber out. They are great parents and really complement each other well. Looking forward to watching "Bo and Luke Duke" grow up together (if only we could get them a little closer to Memphis)!
Isaiah meeting Bryant and giving him sweet kisses.

Good thing Cappy has a big enough lap too. Isaiah wasn't about to let Bryant get more Cappy time than him.

After a few days in Memphis we headed to Arkansas for some family time at the Roost. Amber was the winner of the weekend. She caught the biggest fish! It made for some good eatin'!

Family portrait time!

The Circus Came to Town
On a cold rainy night we found out that the Shriner's Circus was going to be in town. We went on opening night which was a weeknight so we could beat the crowds. Lucky for us we bumped in to our sweet friends the Stiles'. Isaiah was so excited to see Owen and Ella. He and Owen even had a little dance session on the bleachers behind us.

I loved watching the people on the flying trapeze. It was my favorite. Isaiah kept saying "ohhhhhh" and "weeeeee".

The elephants were by far Isaiah's favorite. Can I get a ROLL TIDE?!
What a fun night.

Monster Trucks
Back in February (yes, I am that far behind!) Isaiah had a guys night out! PawPaw D, Uncle Dave, Daddy and Isaiah headed to the Fed Ex Forum to see the monster truck rally. I'm pretty sure he had an awesome time because 2 months later he still talks about it!

Isaiah is one loved little dude! I know we are both looking forward to another guys night out! :-)

Children's Museum
Gigi and Pawpaw Pete gave Isaiah (and his cabin fevered mommy) a special treat! A season pass to the Children's Museum of Memphis (CMOM). The winter here is so nasty. Cold, dreary and rainy most days. These Florida birds were not used to being stuck inside so much and this has been the perfect escape for us. Our first trip was on a weekend so Daddy could join in on the fun. What a great and safe place for kids to learn, explore and have fun.
Exploring the world of aviation! Fed Ex provided this plane and I hear that the planes haven't changed much. Can you imagine having to know what all those little switches are for. I would crash for sure.

This little river is full of entertainment. It was Isaiah's favorite place to play. Along with splashing in the water they have tiny fishing poles you can catch with, walls to build up dams and see the effects of that and nets for scooping. We went back here several times and every time we go now it is the first place he runs to.

The grocery store was always my favorite when I was little. They have miniature carts and shelves stocked with food. You get to check yourself out and play with the cash register and grocery scanner. SO FUN! (yes, I still enjoy it)

The dress up room is full of fun costumes and has a green screen. The room plays music and you can watch yourself on TV as you transform into a "dancing superhero" or "Mike the Knight" (Isaiah's choice for that day).

What little boy doesn't love fire trucks and motorcycles?

This was Mike's favorite attraction. I'm pretty sure he wants to build a rock climbing wall in Isaiah's room now.

Thanks you Gigi and Pawpaw Pete for the gift that keeps on giving (and for helping to keep my house clean on the yucky days we can't get outside)!
