Isaiah's 3rd Birthday Part 1

Last Thursday Cappy and Ebbie came by after school to bring their little buddy his birthday presents since they were going to be out of town on his actual birthday. This was a great surprise for Isaiah. He is always so happy to see them and the Chub Man! Isaiah got some new cowboy boots (THAT HE LOVES), a pair of Nikes that he can put on all by himself (because that's how 3 year olds do things apparently), a "Hulk Smash" action figure (that smashes everything in my house) and some foam glow sticks for Halloween.
Thanks Cappy and Ebbie, you sure made Isaiah feel special!

Holy 3rd trimester batman!

I cannot believe we are down to 11 weeks and some change!  This pregnancy has flown by. We have nothing ready for our sweet baby girl so that is on our to do list this month. Must. Get. Nursery. Finished.
I am so excited to meet Isabella and even more excited that Isaiah is going to be a big brother. I cannot wait to watch them grow up together. I know he is going to teach her all kinds of dare devilish things. Hahahaha.
I am also very thankful to an amazing group of girlfriends who have offered to throw us a shower. God has really blessed me with some amazing new friendships and the opportunity to reconnect and grow some old friendships. I cannot wait to start getting things ready for Isabella Jane!  I also cannot believe I have waited so long to do anything. Oooops!
I normally don't share pics of my growing belly but I now wish I had blogged them with Isaiah so here goes!
Relaxing on the couch. (Around 23 weeks)

Happy third trimester!  Yes I know the rollers in my hair are fabulous. I am always in a hurry. (28th week)
I found this gown at the Germantown festival and had one of my friends do the cross. I absolutely love it and think this may be the outfit she comes home in.
Even Isaiah likes to snuggle up with his baby sister every now and then.

Fall Break

We kicked off fall break 2013 with a trip to the zoo on Monday. It was a great day keeping up with all these kiddos.

Isaiah and Hudson were practicing their pout pout faces when we asked them to stop running and tackling each other. Gah moms, y'all take the fun out of everything. Ha!

I love the SAS of these two cousins.

On Tuesday we joined in the fun at the Wingo's bonfire. Complete with hot dogs, s'mores, punkin' paintin' and lots of outdoor fun and laughter!

We spent the rest of the week visiting with family, trips to parks, picnics, seeing new cartoons, building blocks and having some quality time together. I tried to put my phone away and focus on my little sidekick but I did manage to catch some snap shots.

I will admit, this pregnant Mommy was exhausted by the end of the week, but I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with my favorite little boy. We made some really great memories together and with friends. I love you buddy! Happy first fall break!

Family Football

What better way to welcome fall than to have a nice game of football in the backyard! I loved watching my boys kick, tackle, run and just have a fun time being boys. Mike is such a great dad and I cherish the moments where they play and Isaiah's laughter fills our home. He loves the time he gets to spend with his Daddy.
