Mexication
On November 22, 2013 we celebrated 10 years of marriage. I was quite pregnant so we decided to wait until the baby was here and things were calm before running off on a trip together. Isabella really makes parenting easy so we decided to take a trip to Mexico in July and left her and Isaiah with my parents. We planned our trip with three other couples and truly had an amazing time. We stayed at the Valentin Imperial Maya. I highly recommend this place. Our service was top notch and the food was great as well. The property was breathtaking. Very secluded and quiet. I loved our room and our patio went right out to a small garden and lazy river. All of our buildings went down the lazy river so we would meet up there every morning after breakfast. Around noon we all went and had lunch together and then headed to the beach for the rest of the day. It was so relaxing. One night we stayed on the beach late and got to release some baby sea turtles in to the ocean. One afternoon we went snorkeling with sea turtles and went to explore the cenotes (a natural pit, or sinkhole resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath). The water in the cenotes was so clear you could see forever.
Airport, airplane and shuttle fun!
Fun times with friends.
