Fall goals: part 3: gettin' beachy

We took a family road trip back to Lakeland to surprise some friends and meet another friends' newborn baby. Isaiah wanted to go to the beach so we added it to our list. I cannot even begin to explain how excited he was when we crossed over the boardwalk and in to the sand. He took off running and dove head first in to the waves. It was perfect!  He ran down the beach and we collected sea shells. Such a refreshing day. I could live on the beach and Indian Rocks is one of my favorites for sure.
It was Isabella's first trip and she loved playing in the sand. When we let the waves crash on her feet she would just giggle. I hope these two always love the beach as much as we do.
Afterwards we walked around John's pass, had some custard and grabbed a few souvenirs.
I sure do miss living so close to the beach.

9 month stats

Weight: 19.8 lbs
Length: ------
Eating:  girlfriend you love food!  We have stopped baby food and moved you to regular table food. It really helps the grocery bill and you are much happier. Here's what you have been munching on: kidney beans, white beans, black eyed peas, green beans, corn, Apple pieces, bananas, potatoes, peas and carrots, sloppy joes, rice, avocado and oatmeal. We are still using soy formula
(About 24-28 ounces a day)
Likes:  crawling, climbing, cruising, singing, babbling, swinging and making new sounds/words (mama, dada, "zay-uh" which is isaiah, baba, uh oh and " done done" which is all done)

Dislikes: ear infections!  We battled an ear infection for almost three weeks. You were a trooper but it really messed with your sleep.

Sleep:  um, the ear infection took a toll on our sleep this month. It's been like having a newborn. Up every 2-4 hours because it hurt so bad. We ended up sleeping together some so I could keep you elevated.
Things you are doing:  copying my laugh, studying your brother, self feeding, climbing stairs, opening and exploring cabinets and using words to communicate.
